Dental SEO · Langley, BC

We looked at Langley's dental map twice in one evening. It wasn't the same map.

Two readings of “dentist langley” less than an hour apart on 13 October showed a different top three, in a different order. One screenshot of your ranking tells you very little. A weekly grid tells you a lot.

Two readings, less than an hour apart

In the first reading, the top three clinics had about 470, 40 and 160 reviews. In the second, about 160, 380 and 130. Distance, timing and Google's own testing all move the local results, and Langley, spread across Willoughby, Walnut Grove, Murrayville and Aldergrove, moves more than most.

Patients search “dentist langley” about 390 times a month and “dentist near me” about 320, with clicks around US$16 to US$24.

Search estimates and the second reading as above; the first reading came from the same location under an hour earlier.

Why we measure on a grid

Our scan checks your clinic's position at dozens of points across your area, on the same searches every week. A single drop or jump is checked again before anyone acts on it. Copy follows BC's rules for dental marketing. For every kind of business in Langley, see local SEO in Langley.

Questions from Langley clinics

Why would the map be different an hour later?

Google's local results shift with time, device, and exactly where the searcher stands. That is normal. It is why we measure the same grid every week rather than trusting one look.

Is it worth it with so few searches?

Langley searches are smaller than Surrey's, about 390 a month for “dentist langley”. But the patients who search are nearby, and each new patient tends to stay for years.
