Services · Map coverage tracking

Your whole service area, measured every week

The same grid of points across your area, the same searches, every Monday. You see where you show up, who holds the zones you are missing, and what changed.

What we do, and what we will not

The map is the evidence, not the product. It is how you and we know whether the work did anything, measured the same way every time so the comparison is real.

We do

  • Run a baseline over your real service area before any work starts
  • Re-measure every week on the same points and the same searches
  • Record your position at every point, with the number, not just a colour
  • Name the businesses holding each zone you are missing
  • Mark points where Google shows no map at all, for anyone
  • Leave a point empty if a search failed, and say so

We will not

  • Lead with an average position that hides where you are in the pack
  • Search from a personal logged-in account
  • Show a failed search as “not found”
  • Change the points or searches quietly. Any change is a new baseline, and marked
  • Sell you the map on its own. Cheap tools do that well; we do the work

How it goes

  1. Setup

    Agree the searches

Up to 20 searches, the way your customers phrase them, for the work you want.

  2. Day one

    The baseline

Your whole area measured before anything changes.

  3. Every Monday

    Re-measure

Same points, same searches, stored beside every earlier week.

  4. Every month

    Then against now

Your baseline beside this week, zone by zone, in your recorded update.

What you see in your dashboard

The Map coverage tab shows this week's grid, the share of points where you are in the top three, the trend, and your first map beside this week's.

How to read it, and why the map changes from street to street.

Questions about map coverage tracking

How do you search from all those points?

A search provider asks what Google Maps shows at each point's coordinates, as a customer standing there would see it. It never touches your website or your Google account.

Can I choose the searches?

Yes, with us, at the start. After that they stay fixed, because changing them breaks the comparison with earlier weeks. If they have to change, it is marked as a new baseline.

Why is a square blank or grey?

Grey means Google showed no map pack at that point, for anyone. Blank means the search failed that week. Neither is counted against you.

Why every week?

Local results move. A weekly reading shows a trend long before a monthly report would, and it shows the weeks nothing happened too.

Can I get the map without the plan?

The audit includes your own dashboard with the full map. The plan re-measures it every week alongside the work.
