Booked jobs and revenue, from your own records

Rankings are not revenue. We put the jobs you booked and what they were worth, from your own job-software exports, beside the map, so the answer comes from your books rather than from us.

What we do, and what we will not

Your job software already knows what you booked and what it was worth. We add where it came from and put it next to the map. Today that runs on an export from your software, or a short closeout form.

We do

  • Help you add a lead-source question to the first call, in the software you already use
  • Take a monthly export of jobs or invoices, a spreadsheet file, and match it to sources
  • Report booked jobs and revenue by source, month by month, beside your map
  • For commercial work, use a short closeout form when a quote is won or lost
  • Keep the section hidden, and say why, until your first export arrives

We will not

  • Claim a live connection to your software. A direct Jobber connection is planned; today it is the export
  • Count leads as jobs. Twenty warranty calls are not revenue
  • Show a zero where there is no data
  • Rebuild tools your software already has, such as review requests or email campaigns
  • Estimate revenue we cannot see

How it goes

  1. Week one

    Agree the sources

Five or six sources, and where your office records them.

  2. Each month

    You export

One file from your job or accounting software. A few minutes.

  3. Each month

    We match

Jobs and revenue by source, checked against the same month's map.

  4. Each quarter

    Read it together

In the recorded update: what booked, from where, and what that says about next quarter.

What you see in your dashboard

The calls to jobs section shows booked jobs and revenue by source, from your own export. Until an export arrives it stays empty and tells you why, because a zero there would be a guess you could not tell from a measurement.

Questions about revenue attribution

Which software does this work with?

Any job, field-service or accounting software that can export jobs or invoices to a spreadsheet. If you have none, the short closeout form does the same job.

Do you connect to Jobber directly?

Not yet. A direct connection is planned. Until it exists, a monthly export does the job, and we will not describe it as anything more.

What customer data do you need?

The job date, the customer's phone number for matching, the source, the status and the value. It is used to do the matching for you and nothing else. The details are in our privacy notice.

What if we have never recorded where jobs come from?

Most contractors have not. We start there: one required question on the new-job form, and the first month's table shows how much is still unknown.

Do you do call tracking?

Not at the moment. A lead-source field used consistently gets most of the way, and it keeps one phone number on your profile.
