Pages for the towns where the map shows you missing
Your profile reaches so far from your address. Useful pages about the work you do in specific towns reach further, and they are written from your real jobs, not a template.
Before
Where pages aim
What we do, and what we will not
A town page earns its place only if a customer in that town learns something from it. We choose towns from your map and your revenue, and every page has to pass a local-substance test before it goes live.
We do
- One strong page for each core service first, then town pages
- Choose towns from your weakest zones and the towns you already get good work from
- Write from your facts: real jobs, local permits and rebates, housing stock, response times
- Pass the doorway test: at least three kinds of real local substance on every town page
- Answer the questions your customers actually search, in visible text: timing, permits, rough costs if you agree
- Link each page to its service page and the right profile link, with housekeeping markup
- Publish in your own website, or hand the page to your web person with placement notes
We will not
- Swap town names into one template
- Build a page for every town within 40 km
- Invent reviews, photos or job counts
- Publish self-ranking “best contractors” lists
- Sell schema or llms.txt as a ranking boost
- Keep the pages on a site we own. They are yours
How it goes
-
From the scan
Pick the zones
Weakest zones where you already do real work come first.
-
From Google
Find the questions
What people actually type about the service, from Google's suggestions and its “People also ask” box. The page answers them.
-
From you
Collect the facts
Job counts, photos, local specifics. Ten minutes of your time per page, usually by phone photo and text.
-
From us
Write and check
A draft from your facts, a human edit, and the doorway test before it ships.
-
After
Publish and measure
Live on your site, logged in your dashboard, and watched on the next weekly grids.
What you see in your dashboard
Each page appears in Work done with a link to the live page. Next areas shows which zones we are working on next and why, before the work happens rather than after.
The full doorway test is in the Field Guide.

Questions about service-area pages
Do I have to write anything?
No. We need the facts only you have: roughly how many jobs you do in a town and what kind, a few photos from jobs there, and anything specific about working there. We write the page.
What if I do not have a website?
Then there is nowhere for pages to live, and about half of the plan loses its footing. The website build exists for that reason.
How many towns will you cover?
Only the towns where you already work and the map shows you missing. A page for every town you could drive to is what Google calls a doorway page, and it tends to hurt more than help.
Do you write the pages with AI?
A draft can start that way. The facts come from you, a person who knows the trade edits it, and it has to pass the local-substance test before it goes live. Mass-produced pages are against Google's spam policies.
Who owns the pages if I leave?
You do. They are on your website and they stay there.
